Archaeological evidence found in the Ecuadorian Amazon reveals traces of cacao dating back approximately 5,500 years, making this land one of the earliest known places where cacao was used by ancient cultures. Having been involved with cacao since childhood, he brings deep knowledge of Ecuadorian cacao, its traditions, cultivation, and chocolate-making process, sharing personal insights and stories that make the experience even more authentic and meaningful. The experience includes a relaxing cacao aromatherapy session, a tasting of fresh cacao mucilage straight from the pod, a live demonstration of the traditional bean-to-bar chocolate-making process, and a delicious chocolate fondue served with marshmallows. You'll also enjoy a tasting of traditional Ecuadorian hot chocolate—known as the "Drink of the Gods"—followed by artisanal cacao beer and cacao liqueur to conclude this unforgettable experience.
