- 1Day 1 | Shell – Sharamentsa – Welcome to the Amazon
Begin your adventure with a scenic flight from Shell to Sharamentsa, offering spectacular aerial views of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Upon arrival, receive a warm welcome from the Achuar community before settling into the eco-lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing walk along the river beach and learn about the surrounding ecosystem. After dinner, embark on a guided night river excursion to observe nocturnal wildlife and experience the rainforest after dark.
- 2Day 2 | Guayusa Ceremony – Waterfall & Rainforest
Wake before sunrise to participate in the traditional Guayusa Ceremony, an important Achuar ritual where stories, dreams, and ancestral wisdom are shared. After breakfast, hike along the Tsenkush/Kawau Trail, discovering medicinal plants, wildlife, and the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest before arriving at the beautiful Guanchanza Waterfall, where you can relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.
- 3Day 3 | Achuar Culture & Wildlife
After breakfast, visit an Achuar community to learn about their customs, traditions, handicrafts, and way of life. Later, enjoy a guided birdwatching excursion, searching for parrots, macaws, toucans, and other tropical species. During the afternoon, participate in a traditional blowgun competition, learning one of the Achuar's ancestral hunting techniques. In the evening, enjoy traditional music, storytelling, and cultural activities with the community.
- 4Day 4 | Return to Shell
After breakfast, enjoy your final moments in the Amazon before transferring to the airstrip for your return flight to Shell.
